I really enjoy having this app. Periodical connection glitches but overall 95% reliable.

App requires you to set up an account to be able to play anything. I dont need any more accounts to keep track of. Deleted.

The app works great. The music, at least on the bebob, straight ahead, piano trios, and classic jazz stations is very well curated. Premium subscription is worth every penny. These guys are not exactly groundbreaking in the features department. No like or dislike. No social aspects to their offering. Could be a great forum for new music but it isnt. No Roku app, which is a big mistake. No skip, but thats OK, its radio stations not Pandora. A DJ station would be great - no they dont have that. All those complaints and I still say its the best there is and I love it.

Love the app, lots of choices in the style of music to choose. However, lately the app has been jumping to the App Store to have me download an app I have ABSOLUTELY no interest in. Very annoying!!!

Used the app for several years and love it. However it now does not work with ios9 on my iPad. Once a stream starts and the iPad autolocks, after you swipe to unlock, the app does not respond. You cant change channels or do anything. Only recourse is to double tap and swipe to kill the app. Will change to 5 star if that gets fixed. Otherwise I will switch to tunein.

I love Jazzradio, but the app, which has a funky look, isnt working right since the last iOS update. I miss the sleep timer. Ps, this Apple nickname requirement is a bear!

this is the best streaming jazz I know of. the music possibilities are ridiculously good -- Cecil Taylor? Really pretty terrific!!!! I chose to pay for the premium version of the app. I hope others do as well. music like this needs to be supported! 70 bucks a year is definitely a great price! the app is primitive. I cant pick favorite channels. I cant get info on what is playing (my biggest complaint.). Also the app misses an opportunity to sell whatever music might be found via iTunes. the sharing options are limited. for instance, why cant I share to a note? it would be great to save my faves directly to the phone. Ive not tried email sharing; maybe it has more value than I think. I hope it at least includes a link to the App Store. it would great to turn more folks on to this music!!!! one pseudo-audiophile nit: Id be willing to pay an extra premium for 256k streaming.

I did the 7 day free trial, decided to go premium, but just before actually doing so began having problems with the app: most times when it goes to commercial the whole thing disconnects - I have to pull up the app to restart & it has to re-initialize all over again. Not feeling confident in connection to move forward now ⁉️

This app gets stuck buffering. It is not my internet connection it is the App.

Im a HUGE fan of jazz music and Ive tried almost everything.This is something else. Although i cant get the premium version (cause of my stupid country). If I could, Id surly would.

If youre big into jazz (and I suspect that you are), this app is what youve been looking for. Perfect library, perfect functionality. There are commercials, but they are minimal and short. They do however offer a paid subscription, eliminating the ads, if you dont want any interruptions at all. Simply put, this is the best free music streaming app out there. The only rival it has would be Songza, back in 2013. Get this app.

Jazz Radio is the best since 45rpm or transistors radios!

I would love this app if only I could get it to play and stop closing itself after a few songs have played. Ive never had this much difficulty with an app not playing properly. The music is great. Commercials are a bit much. I am hesitant to pay for an upgrade for fear that it will close itself like the regular version. It is my hope that the makers of this app fix the problem because the music is very delightful.

This is an excellent app: a lot of diverse choices of Jazz, and the best sound quality of any online radio app Ive used. No issues with the iPhone app. The iPad version freezes. Often, I have to switch from portrait mode to landscape mode to unfreeze the app. The yearly cost for is a great deal. First rate sound and no ads.

I love the fact that you can choose what kind of jazz music you want to listen too.

The update to version 3 is terrific.

I absolutely love this app and now that theyve upgraded their interface, it is a no-brained for jazz lovers as well as music lovers! Im a jazz musician who loves jazz and this app triumph any jazz app. This app is my go-to-app for "setting the mood". Job well done!

After this new update the app takes much longer to load on my iPhone 6

The app works fine on iOS 9.1 and earlier. Starting with iOS 9.2.1 it fails miserably. The music plays just fine but the "currently playing" information doesnt update. Also the time played/remaining does not work. These guys have the worlds best jazz music curators, Jimi King, Dave Koz and the celebrity DJs. Too bad the app doesnt live up to the talent. I will say that the support staff is extremely responsive. I just hope the development staff is as dedicated and gets it fixed. Or maybe Pandora can lure Jimi over to their house. ;-)
